Mini bio
How it started.
Sagawa told Weekly Playboy that they were an office worker until February 2021. Wanting to appear on the giant screen at Shibuya 109, they left their job and began posting on TikTok. Savings from their working life supported the first six months.
Comedy that travels.
They deliberately kept speech to a minimum so the jokes could reach people across languages. Physical challenges and Disney movie imitations became signatures. By December 2021, Weekly Playboy reported a video above 100 million views and roughly 4.14 million YouTube subscribers.
Building a style.
In a 2022 interview published by their network, Collab Japan, Sagawa said they saw an opening in nonverbal videos after watching Junya’s success. They described watching overseas TikTok and Shorts videos every day and keeping their reactions natural. The same interview celebrated reaching 10 million YouTube subscribers.
What fans can watch now.
Alongside their short comedy, Sagawa publishes longer try-not-to-laugh collections. Recent uploads include Cactus Dance compilations, Top 100 collections and a Noob vs Pro vs Hacker video.
