Mini bio

How it started.

Sarah Beth trained as a yoga teacher, taught locally and began her YouTube channel in 2010. In her Practice Brave interview, she recalled creating the short yoga videos she wanted for herself and finding other people who wanted the same thing.

Making it her work.

By 2014, she said, YouTube was earning more than her job as a chiropractic assistant, so she left that job to focus on filming. Her first paid product followed in 2015, a 60-minute yoga video. She launched the SarahBethYoga app in 2017.

A practice that fits everyday life.

Her free classes range from morning stretches and beginner flows to prenatal, restorative and bedtime yoga. The app adds ad-free classes, daily calendars, downloadable practices and a private community. Her 2017 morning yoga video has passed 30 million views on YouTube.

Beyond the mat.

In 2023 she published Trauma Alchemy: Transform Hardship, Stress, and Trauma into Your Best Life Through Yoga. Drawing on her own experience of trauma and healing, the book connects inner work with the stages of a yoga practice. She also created an eight-week yoga calendar to accompany it.
