Mini bio
How it started.
Shivesh began baking in Class 11 with his cousins and a box of cupcake mix. Some cupcakes burned, but the fun of making them stayed. Encouraging responses to his Instagram photos led him to start a recipe blog in December 2014.
Finding a path.
He studied political science at Hindu College, Delhi University, graduating in May 2017. Baking, styling and photography grew together through Bake With Shivesh. Early recognition included an Outlook Social Media award in 2016 and a place on Vogue’s 20 Under 26 list in 2017.
From posts to pages.
His debut cookbook, Bake With Shivesh, followed in November 2018. Desserts for Every Mood and Eggless Baking with Shivesh expanded the collection. By Chocolate in 2024, he was celebrating his fifth cookbook. His digital collection Better Baking explores ingredients such as ragi, oats, jaggery and dates.
