Mini bio
How it started.
Sigourney began in journalism, graduating from California State University, Northridge in 2011. An E! News nail-art segment sparked her curiosity, and she started BySig.com in 2013. Sharing DIY designs on Instagram connected her with a wider nail community.
From editor to educator.
She joined NAILS magazine in 2014 and later became NAILPRO’s digital content manager. Alongside editorial work, she trained at Advance Beauty College. By 2018, she was OPI’s North America education manager.
Nails for the camera.
Her credits include the Dazed shoot launching Harry Styles’s Pleasing in 2021, his 2023 Grammy manicure and Pleasing’s first fragrance campaign. Her own channels continue the DIY focus, making nail techniques easier to try at home.
