Mini bio
How it started.
Silvia started Bartabac in 2009 as a hobby built around her love of fashion. She had studied business and advertising. Early posts offered ideas for combining accessible clothes, with outfit photographs taken around Vigo.
Finding an audience.
By 2011, La Voz de Galicia was reporting about 15,000 daily visits and collaborations with Telva, Harper’s Bazaar, H&M and Pull & Bear. The blog became a route into styling, design and work with fashion brands.
Beyond the blog.
Silvia began running the clothing and accessories label À Bicyclette in 2010 and also designed the Pertini by Bartabac shoe line. In 2014, Hércules de Ediciones published Bartabac, her guide to personal style, beauty and places to explore.
Closer to her viewers.
In her 2018 La Región interview, Silvia described YouTube as a way to share more than photographs could convey. Her channel brings that approach to shopping hauls, beauty favourites, outfit guides and trips, including a vlog from Dior’s Cruise 2023 show in Seville.
