Mini bio

How it started.

Alan and Alex told Schön! that their mom gave them a camera for their tenth birthday. They used it to upload silly skits for friends and family. They later built an audience on Instagram, explored TikTok, and kept making YouTube videos.

Finding their audience.

Before their channel became a full-time operation, the brothers were medical students. Forbes reports that they lived out of their car while trying to make it as creators in Los Angeles. Their video “What It’s Like to Be a Twin” reached 10 million views in a week and helped change their circumstances.

Building bigger ideas.

Their videos grew into elaborate builds, school challenges, and games of hide-and-seek. Secret rooms became a recurring part of that world: in one 2024 video, Salish and Jordan Matter try to find four rooms the twins built in different colors.

A new screen.

In July 2026, Netflix launched a collection of their existing videos and announced an original series for 2027. The new project extends their storytelling into a longer format.
