Mini bio

How it started.

Tabitha grew up in North Carolina and pursued acting long before her recipe videos reached millions. After briefly studying fashion design, she worked toward a performing career and co-hosted a local late-night show in Greensboro. She moved to Los Angeles with her family in 2004.

The sandwich that changed things.

In 2017, while working as an Uber driver, she posted a Facebook review of a Whole Foods TTLA sandwich. It went viral and led to a brand ambassador role. In March 2020, her daughter encouraged her to join TikTok, where vegan cooking and gentle encouragement found a much bigger audience.

Making room for more.

Her work now spans books, television and businesses. Tab Time invites preschoolers to explore kindness and confidence with Ms. Tab. She also hosted and executive produced Food Network’s vegan cooking competition It’s CompliPlated, co-founded haircare brand Donna’s Recipe and launched fragrances with her husband, Chance.
