Mini bio
How it started.
Tamara built a public career as a television presenter in Dubai, fronting Dubai International Film Festival coverage and interviewing guests including George Clooney and Paulo Coelho. Fashion became another way to express that creativity: an announcement from her publicist documents the launch of the Tamara Al Gabbani eveningwear collection at Armani Privé in Burj Khalifa in May 2011.
From her own label to global campaigns.
Her work spanned House of Glamo and her namesake label. A wider fashion milestone came in 2014, when she and Yalda Golsharifi styled and modelled DKNY’s Ramadan capsule. Her own designs included evening gowns, jalabiyas and abayas, with printed silk and crystal details. In February 2018, her label joined the Best of Global Modest Fashion show in London.
A different creative chapter.
In her 2025 Vogue Arabia essay, Tamara explained that she had studied business despite wanting to study fashion. She also described closing her brand during the pandemic and gradually rediscovering creative confidence. Fashion and beauty content offered room to experiment, including the short, bleached hairstyles that became part of her personal style.
Life in Miami.
In May 2026, she shared that a July 2025 project promoting the two Four Seasons properties in Miami had sparked the idea of moving there. She eventually relocated with Princess, her rescue Pomeranian, and described a growing focus on wellness and personal growth.
