Taryn loved fashion, especially shoes and accessories, but struggled to find outfit inspiration from women with a body like hers. She began experimenting with her own clothes and sharing the results as Taryn Truly, hoping to make shopping easier for other midsize women.
Finding her people.
After having her son, she wanted to find community and show him that beauty and strength come in many shapes and sizes. Her attainable wardrobe tips reached more than a million followers each on Instagram and Facebook, according to Hallmark’s cast biography.
Taking that work to television.
In 2025, she joined Connie Britton’s The Motherhood as its style and self-love expert. Alongside home specialist Angela Rose and parenting coach Destini Davis, she helps single mothers make changes that support their everyday lives.
