Mini bio
How it started.
Originally from Miyagi, Oikawa planned to work locally. In their Hot Pepper Beauty Academy interview, they said the Great East Japan Earthquake prompted them to reconsider and pursue a challenge in Tokyo. They went on to spend about ten years at AFLOAT.
Finding their signature.
Oikawa says persistence through a difficult assistant period helped them discover strengths in fringe cutting and shampooing. In 2020, they co-founded Mirareee with a colleague and became CEO. Fringe and face-framing work became their signature, earning the nickname “fringe magician.”
Sharing the technique.
Fans know Ten-san through hairstyle transformations on Instagram. Their teaching also reaches fellow stylists through HAIRCAMP, where they cover fringe design, consultation and salon photography. Their work has since appeared in BOB, KAMISMAX and product collaborations.
