Mini bio

How it started.

Thomas began with BMW builds and occasional car reviews while working another job. In their Dyler interview, he dated those beginnings to 2015 and recalled James, then a casual viewer, reaching out in 2018 to help. Their partnership became the double act fans know today.

Finding their audience.

Car comparisons, track driving and a willingness to laugh at themselves became the channel’s staples. In August 2024, they celebrated three million subscribers by driving the Tuthill 911K and Alfaholics GTA-R 290 in Wales, with a Richard Hammond cameo.

A bigger adventure.

In 2026, Thomas and James joined Francis Bourgeois to present The Grand Tour. Their own channel also kept publishing, from electric-car reviews to Thomas’s restored Alfa and James’s surprise purchase of a GTA 1300 Junior.
