A taste of home.
Tiffy grew up in Taiwan in a family that loved night markets, restaurants, and trips built around food. After moving to Vancouver and then away for university, they began cooking to ease homesickness. Fried rice and pan-fried chicken eventually led to pho and beef noodle soup for their housemates.
Finding an audience.
Their literary agency dates their first TikTok to September 3, 2020, and says it went viral. Tiffy built on that start with approachable Asian cooking series. In a 2021 TikTok interview, they described turning an 11-year dream into a full-time job.
Recipes to keep.
Their debut cookbook arrived on February 27, 2024, with 88 recipes drawing on Taiwanese family cooking and travels across Asia. It includes everyday dishes, meals to share, freezer-friendly projects, desserts, and drinks. The Canadian publisher lists it as a Globe and Mail and USA Today bestseller.

Tiffy also founded kai dong, an Asian food brand. Their own account of its Los Angeles launch describes working with Chef Allan on a menu featuring the brand’s noodles and sauces, then meeting fans at the pop-up.
