Mini bio
How it started.
Vidhi introduced her RamenHairedGirl blog in June 2016 while studying law, writing about cooking and the food scene in Mumbai. In a later interview, she explained that an injury kept her at home and prompted her to cook and document her experiments on Instagram.
Choosing the kitchen.
After graduating in 2017, she chose cooking over a legal career. She spent a year working at Tarla Dalal’s company before making Ramenhairedgirl her full-time work.
Reaching more tables.
MissMalini featured her vegan black rice pudding in 2019 and included her among its upcoming Instagram creators in 2020. She authored The Quarantine Cookbook in 2020, according to her TEDx speaker biography. Her Beyond Boundaries talk, published in January 2024, explores her choice between law and content creation.
What she is making now.
Her recent videos move between Punjabi vegetables, paneer chilli and playful combinations such as shrikhand cannoli and bhaji focaccia. Fans can follow the recipes on her YouTube channel and Instagram account.
