Mini bio
How it started.
Hervé launched hervecuisine.com in June 2007, combining his website design skills with his love of cooking. Filming each step helped home cooks follow along. He learned through his family rather than formal culinary training, with Italian, Vietnamese and Provençal influences.
A recipe people passed around.
His chocolate courgette cake went viral in 2015. In a 2025 Le Monde interview, he recalled filming his first video with a camera balanced on a shoebox above the washing machine.
From screen to kitchen shelf.
His books extend the same practical approach: vegetable-based baking in Ma pâtisserie healthy, chocolate desserts in Craquage 100% chocolat, budget menus, and more recently air fryer cooking and apple recipes.
