Mini bio
Family first.
Aaron Brown grew up in South Los Angeles. His kitchen education came from family: summers and holidays cooking with his grandmother, time around his mother and great-grandmother, and barbecue lessons from his grandfather.
From a challenge to a channel.
He started his YouTube channel in 2017. In his own account, someone challenged him to stop talking about sharing his barbecue sauce and actually do it. He posted his first video within three weeks. His Southern food and barbecue tutorials grew into Smokin’ and Grillin’ with AB.
More ways to cook along.
His work now includes cookbooks and collaborations. Best of Both Worlds pairs him with Mr. Make It Happen, while his 2024 outdoor-cooking book collects grilling and smoking recipes. In 2022, Real Talk with Pat Neely brought conversations about food, family, and channel growth to a weekly podcast.
