How it started.
Lexie joined a gym in January 2021 after COVID interrupted the basketball, soccer and track she enjoyed. Her early TikToks followed trends for fun. When viewers asked about her workouts, she began sharing her fitness progress, even though posting made her nervous.
Finding her audience.
She told AYBL that her audience grew while she was still in high school. Regular posts, replies to comments and the connection with her twin Ana helped people get to know her. In 2022, AYBL featured her as one of its athletes.
Growing together.
Lexie and Ana’s shared work grew from fitness into college routines, beauty, hair and everyday life. Both graduated from the University of Minnesota with degrees in Nutrition Sciences. In their Numéro Netherlands interview, they described the move from filming in bedrooms to seeing their work on Times Square billboards.
