How it started.
Amber grew up in Malibu with a builder dad and a mom who taught her to craft. Working in a home decor store, she moved from the register to creating displays, and customers began asking her to bring that same eye into their homes.
From blog to business.
She says she began documenting her first home’s DIY projects and renovations on a blog in 2010. Readers became clients, and she formally started Amber Interiors in October 2013. Shoppe grew from another hands-on beginning: sewing pillows in her garage and selling them through Instagram flash sales.
The work fans follow.
Her rooms layer vintage furniture, found textiles, and natural materials with everyday comfort in mind. Alongside her design studio and Shoppe Amber Lewis, she shares advice and inspiration through All Sorts Of. Her books Made for Living, Call It Home, and Interiors bring that approach onto the page, while Home Made, My Way takes viewers inside her own renovation.
