Mini bio
How it started.
Before television, Bobby built his career in home retail. He worked at Bed Bath & Beyond and Restoration Hardware, then became creative director at Portico Home + Spa. He started his own company in 2006 and opened a lower Manhattan showroom the following year.
The breakout.
After moving to Los Angeles in 2015, he launched a full-service interior design practice. Queer Eye brought his work to a wider audience in 2018. As the Fab Five’s resident designer, he helped people reshape their homes alongside changes in their everyday lives. His eighth and final season arrived in January 2024.
Home and wellbeing.
His 2023 book Right at Home connects practical design choices with how a space makes you feel. In December 2025, he began hosting HGTV’s Junk or Jackpot?, helping collectors turn selected possessions into funds for home renovations.
