How it started.
Ariana grew up watching her grandmother roll tortillas and learned Mexican cooking alongside her. Famous Birthdays dates her TikTok beginnings to early 2020, with carne asada tacos among her earliest posts.

She told CultureMap that a viewer in lockdown had only a sack of potatoes at home. Ariana responded with an accessible meal idea and introduced her maternal cooking persona. The response encouraged the beginner-focused approach that became her signature.
From videos to a cookbook.
Her first cookbook, Mi Cocina Mexicana, brings that approach to 60 Mexican recipes, including tortillas, tacos, enchiladas and desserts. Page Street Publishing released it on October 1, 2024. Her publisher biography also lists partnerships with Sargento, Pizza Hut, Walmart and Sam’s Club.
