Mini bio
How it started.
Ben began making videos at 10, filling spare time with homemade dances and Minecraft recordings. He kept experimenting: in a later interview, he recalled switching from Minecraft videos to album reviews without expecting any of it to become a career.
Finding his comedy.
Early TikTok attention included comparisons to Noah Centineo. Ben points to a 2019 video, edited to make a microwaved can of beans appear to blow up his house, as a turning point. His mix of surreal storytelling and everyday absurdity grew into longer YouTube challenges.
More ways to tell a story.
Ben launched I Almost Died with Studio71 in February 2021, sharing close calls and listeners’ stories. Drama Mama gave him a looser place to discuss pop culture and his own life. In 2023, he also became a Nick News correspondent and made Jester’s Privilege, a documentary following That Vegan Teacher.
Still making it himself.
In January 2026, Ben told Behind the Blinds he was still filming on his phone and editing with Final Cut Pro. He had also written a screenplay and wanted to explore satire about the influencer experience.
