Mini bio

How it started.

Before Vine, Caleb was making stop-motion videos with action figures and a camcorder in third grade. A cousin later introduced Caleb to Vine, where the first upload appeared in March 2015.

Finding a longer format.

Caleb built an audience on Vine before moving into YouTube videos in 2016. Longer sketches gave the characters room to argue, misunderstand each other and follow absurd rules. Early favourites included “The first plant to become a venus fly trap”.

The characters fans know.

“Super human interview” turns superhero recruitment into a job interview full of disappointing powers. “When the hero is just as smart as villain.” and “If insects had to introduce themselves.” bring that same interest in unlikely conversations to heroes, villains and bugs.

Beyond the main channel.

In September 2019, Comedy Central hosted CalebCity Week, featuring appearances across its original video formats. In 2020, Caleb won the Streamy Award for Writing and received a Creator Honor from Kyle Exum. New sketches continue alongside Friday Twitch streams.
