How it started.
Charlotte studied commerce at McGill before moving into digital publishing. Work at Hearst Magazines and Snap Inc. taught Charlotte how outrage earns attention online, a lesson that later shaped a more questioning approach to beauty marketing.
Finding a voice.
A personal interest in skincare grew into public explainers about ingredients, product claims and fear-based selling. Learning from cosmetic chemist Joyce de Lemos helped Charlotte challenge the messages circulating online. By 2021, those candid Instagram and TikTok posts had built a substantial audience.
Building Dieux.
Charlotte co-founded Dieux in 2020 with Joyce de Lemos and Marta Freedman. Its reusable Forever Eye Mask became a signature product. As Chief Brand Officer, Charlotte connects the brand’s products with conversations about testing, pricing and what skincare can realistically deliver.
