Mini bio
How it started.
Growing up in suburban New Jersey, Christie used Tumblr to connect with people who shared her interest in fashion and beauty. She began taking outfit photographs at home, started a separate Instagram for them and moved to New York to study at LIM College.
Finding her footing.
New York brought showroom invitations and brand opportunities. Signing with Wilhelmina’s influencer division helped turn the project into a business. In her 2018 Keke interview, she described being sent to Paris Fashion Week as a turning point, while regular messages asking for advice made the work feel meaningful.
A style that feels like home.
Her mix of neutrals, oversized tailoring and vintage pieces grew out of wanting clothes that felt comfortable in a busy city. That interest extended to interiors: she became co-owner of Vollective, a shop for vintage and pre-owned homewares.
Writing the next chapter.
Christie now publishes NYC Bambi on Substack and contributes to Marie Claire. By 2026 she was writing from Los Angeles, while continuing to share fashion-week travels, outfit diaries and the objects she brings into her home.
