Mini bio
How it started.
While ill and bedridden in their late teens, Dana began watching YouTube makeup tutorials. They started Instagram in 2013 and took on event and bridal clients in 2014 while finishing year 12.
Making it a career.
Dana began a Diploma of Specialist Makeup in 2015. By 2016, their client work was busy enough to leave hospitality behind. Their warm, glowing makeup style grew into bridal and editorial work.
From brushes to a brand.
Dana launched DMV Collective in 2024. Its origin was practical: years of cleaning brushes and sponges, frustration with the options available, and a renewed focus on tool hygiene during the pandemic.
Beyond the makeup chair.
Dana also creates beauty and fashion content for brands including Armani Beauty, YSL Beauty, MECCA and Dissh. THE WED featured their tool-cleaning picks in its November 2024 bridal beauty guide.
