Mini bio

How it started.

Danny grew up in Wheaton, Illinois, and made comedy sketches with friends before college. He began posting on Vine in late 2013. Adding visual effects helped his six-second sketches find an audience, which reached 2.9 million followers before Vine closed.

Finding a format.

The move to YouTube took experimentation. In a 2019 interview, Danny described trying sketches and music before commentary clicked, inspired by creators including Drew Gooden. His Troom Troom reaction videos helped the channel grow in 2018.

Taking it onstage.

Danny met Drew Gooden while making Vine’s Camp Unplug in 2016. They later took their partnership on the road with the 2019 We Are Two Different People Tour, joined by Kurtis Conner. Their shared song “We Are Not The Same Person” played along with fans confusing the two creators.

What fans come back for.

His videos turn unusual products, internet trends and movie plots into comedy, sometimes carrying a joke into a full song. Alongside the videos, he makes comedy music and performs live. In 2022, he won the Streamy Award for Commentary.
