Mini bio
How it started.
Eleonora’s path into fashion began with a shop in Turin. In 2006, they opened YouYouShop to sell work by independent designers. Jou Jou Villeroy grew from the wish to share the store’s discoveries in longer stories and photographs beyond MySpace.
The turning point.
The blog launched in 2010 and brought a wider audience. Eleonora told Wait! Fashion that a freelance writing invitation from Grazia changed their professional prospects, connecting the Turin shop to Milan’s fashion world. Creative direction and digital campaigns followed, including work through Grumble Creative.
Making things.
By a December 2021 interview, Eleonora had closed the earlier agency and started a solo production and creative direction company. That year also brought a PINKO capsule collection. In 2026, their own updates include NOMAD projects connecting contemporary art, collectible design and fashion.
