Mini bio
How it started.
Elle’s fashion career grew through visual merchandising roles at One Teaspoon, General Pants and Seafolly. While working at General Pants, she sent fashion inspiration emails that developed into They All Hate Us, the blog she built with Tash Sefton. Its audience helped open the door to collaborations and a full-time digital career.
Making something of her own.
In 2018, Elle founded the self-tanning brand now called ELEFFECT. In her Business Minded interview, she described being inspired by creators who were becoming business owners, then finding US labs willing to help make her idea real. In 2025 she added FELLE, a clothing label shaped by her own mix of Bondi style and city dressing.
A wardrobe fans recognise.
Denim remains a recurring thread, from her early cut-off shorts to two Ksubi collaborations. Her design work also includes a 23-piece Mimco jewellery capsule inspired by Bondi, Los Angeles and Paris, drawing on her own vintage collection.
