Mini bio
How it started.
Before the records, Giggs mixed ragga as a DJ. In a 2011 AllHipHop interview, they recalled starting to rap at home with a younger brother in 2002, then becoming serious about music after a spell in prison. Finding a voice.
The 2007 mixtapes Hollowman Meetz Blade with Blade Brown and Ard Bodied with Dubz helped establish Giggs’s slow, bass-heavy approach to road rap. “Talkin the Hardest” became a calling card, followed by the independently released debut Walk in da Park in 2008. [Mixmag’s interview](https://mixmag.net/feature/giggs-uk-rap-rapper-cover-feature-interview-zero-tolerance) traces that journey from selling SN1 CDs by hand to an international audience.
A wider circle.
Landlord arrived in 2016, followed by Wamp 2 Dem in 2017. That year also brought features on Drake’s “KMT” and “No Long Talk”. Giggs’s collaborators have since included Dave, 21 Savage and Meek Mill. [Official management biography](https://www.leadermgmt.com/giggs).
Beyond the booth.
Giggs is working with OMG Foundation on St James House in Gravesend, combining specialist education with an assessment centre for neurodivergent young people. The project grew from the family’s experiences of seeking support.
