Mini bio
How it started.
Henry began making science videos while in Year 12 in 2018, after saving for a microphone. His interests grew into a channel spanning paleontology, zoology and astronomy.
Finding an audience.
In his University of Otago interview, Henry described a surge of attention to his Neanderthal video during the 2020 lockdown. The growth helped him monetise the channel and support his studies. He also built a New Zealand Bird of the Week series.
The work today.
Henry describes himself as a zoology and marine science graduate. His recent videos move between shark anatomy, bird conservation and newly described prehistoric animals. He also contributes to PaleoRewind, the annual science creator collaboration organised by EDGE Science.
