How it started.

Born in London and raised partly in Switzerland, Jack first wrote poetry. His mother encouraged him to set his words to music. Back in London, he worked in a falafel shop while studying cinematography, then began building a life around songs and small gigs.

Finding an audience.

His debut single, Without, arrived in 2006, followed by Between the Minds in 2007. Touring with Corinne Bailey Rae was an early turning point. Written in Scars became his breakthrough in 2015, followed by his first UK Number 1 album, Singing to Strangers, in 2019.

Songs across borders.

Europiana gave him a second UK Number 1 in 2021. After his father died, he explored his Italian heritage through Miss Italia, learning to write songs in Italian. In 2026, We Will Always Be The Way We Were returned to his west London roots, with collaborations including KT Tunstall and Steph Fraser.
