Mini bio

How it started.

Jenn grew up in Burleson, Texas, and studied fashion merchandising at Tarleton State University. After becoming a mother of two, she wanted a creative outlet and began writing a blog. Her funny take on which wines pair with children’s difficult behavior brought a much wider audience to Life as a Rambling Redhead.

From writing to rooms.

That parenting humor became the 2017 book Whine: 50 Perfect Wines to Pair with Your Child’s Rotten Behavior. Her online work also grew to include home decorating, clothes and family life. HGTV’s No Demo Reno brought her design work to television in 2021, transforming homes around Dallas-Fort Worth while often keeping their existing layout.

Life beyond the renovation.

Jenn and her husband, Mike, also own Armor Coffee and co-host You, Me & Mike. In 2026, she explained that she had paused No Demo Reno after three seasons to make more room for family life. Fans can still find her sharing decorating ideas, outfits and everyday stories through The Rambling Redhead, with a second podcast season that concluded in May 2026.
