Mini bio
How it started.
Jenna bought her first fixer upper in California in 2008. After moving to Florida, she started her blog in December 2010 to document another renovation and began planning a custom art print shop. By September 2011, she had left her day job to run her Etsy business full time.
Finding her audience.
In a 2014 interview, Jenna described gradual growth rather than one breakout moment. Features on other home blogs brought traffic, and Pinterest helped readers discover her projects. She emphasized original, relatable work and good photography.
Homes with a story.
Her projects include the Cottage House Flip, finished in 2017, and Riverside Retreat, completed in 2020. She began renovating Hacienda Hideaway in 2021. Her site pairs room transformations with tutorials and sources so readers can try ideas in their own homes.
What she’s building now.
Alongside the Spanish Sanctuary renovation, Jenna introduced The Livable Luxury Formula in July 2026. The app turns her design process into lessons, sourcing guidance and personalized help for people updating their homes on a budget.
