Mini bio
How it started.
Before the recipe videos, Joshua pursued rap in his early twenties, recording music and releasing mixtapes. He later worked in restaurants and became a private chef. TikTok’s Discover List describes him as self-taught and based in Houston.
Finding his format.
He began filming food content while cooking for his older brother, basketball player Tracy McGrady. In his When I Make It To LA interview, he recalled that a bread-pudding video over a Doja Cat instrumental gave him the confidence to keep going. Gordon Ramsay’s reactions later brought his work to more viewers.
Cook along.
His recipes pair cooking instructions with rap and familiar songs. Fans can also follow his e-cookbooks, including RAPcipes, Entrée 3000, Tyler, The Caterer and Friendsgiving. Their product pages include links from recipes to videos.
