Mini bio

How it started.

Kate told GQ that her first challenge came in 2013, during her second year at Newcastle University. Inspired by Man v. Food, she tried a 20oz cheeseburger and wedges with a 20-minute limit. She was the only one of her friends to finish. LADbible later picked up the before-and-after photos.

Making food her work.

Her marketing dissertation explored whether challenge videos could bring more customers into three Newcastle restaurants. She later worked with brands including KFC, Sainsbury’s and Walkers, while continuing to film restaurant challenges.

Familiar favourites and fresh attempts.

Her videos include a three-foot hotdog, a Sky One collaboration inspired by The Simpsons and a return to challenges with The Legend fry-up in 2023. In 2024 she documented judging the National Burger Awards and revisited a 60oz burger at The Beefy Boys. Fans now also find her taking on dumplings, lasagne and giant pastries.
