Mini bio
How it started.
Moore grew up in Rochester, New York, and studied art. Their mother was a Mary Kay director, and Moore used to paint versions of ELLE covers. A friend’s fashion show became the turning point: when another makeup artist dropped out, Moore stepped in with their mother’s products and a few new purchases. Models lined up for the results. Moore then practiced on their nieces and learned the basics during eight months at MAC Cosmetics.
Building a career.
On Pretty Curious with Jonathan Van Ness, Moore recalled early jobs doing makeup for Love & Hip Hop cast members visiting Rochester. Social media became a portfolio, while relationships with hairstylists, stylists and other people on shoots helped bring new opportunities. The work grew into celebrity beauty, editorial shoots and major red carpets.
The glow.
Moore’s signature is luminous skin built through careful layering. Their agency lists clients including Iman, Mary J. Blige, Tessa Thompson and Janelle Monáe, plus collaborations with Armani Beauty, CoverGirl, Anastasia Beverly Hills and Chanel Beauty.
