Mini bio

Finding his voice.

Larri Merritt grew up in Compton and built an audience across Vine, YouTube, and TikTok. In his 2023 Elite Daily interview, he traced his interest in creating to watching openly LGBTQ+ creators during high school. Their example helped him feel that he could express himself online, too.

Comedy, games, and music.

His videos mix jokes with friends, internet challenges, and gaming, including Roblox. He released the satirical rap video First Place in 2018, followed by Canceled in 2020. Canceled reached No. 81 on the Billboard Hot 100; he also co-directed and co-edited its video with JakeTheShooter.

A bigger circle.

Larray joined the Hype House in 2020, won the Streamy Award for Lifestyle that year, and hosted the 2021 ceremony. His Ride or Die videos now put guests in the passenger seat for carpool conversations, with episodes featuring Quenlin Blackwell, sombr, and Bretman Rock.

Keeping fans close.

In his Elite Daily interview, Larray described wanting to offer fans the encouragement he had once needed himself. Alongside videos and music, he has built the Girlies merchandise line. His recent collaborations include GQ’s Friendship Quiz with Quenlin Blackwell and a makeover on Plastique’s Beauty Bar.
