How it started.
Latifa began her fashion blog in 2010, sharing a view of Emirati style through abayas, accessories and everyday outings. It followed an earlier attempt at blogging. This time, she focused on the fashion she loved rather than trying to predict what readers wanted.
Finding an audience.
By May 2011, The National reported that her self-titled blog had received 46,000 hits in six months and that she had become a contributor to La Moda Dubai. Her early photographs kept faces out of frame, letting the clothes and details tell the story.
Building beyond the blog.
Her interests grew into business as well as content. In a 2015 Khaleej Times interview, she described starting the Queen L clothing line with her sisters after completing a master’s degree in public relations for travel and tourism. Emirates Woman later identified her as the founder of Events by Latifa AlShamsi.
Life alongside the work.
Fashion, beauty and travel remain part of her public work, alongside conversations about family. In her Hiba Jaber interview, Latifa described herself as a mother of three and explained that she plans content around her children. Her jewellery choices often carry memories, tradition and a connection to family.
