How it started.
Maciek grew up helping his mother in the kitchen. After moving from Poland to the United States, he fell for backyard barbecue. In 2017, his wife gave him a Big Green Egg for Father’s Day. At 35, he started an Instagram page to share what he cooked.
Taking the leap.
He worked in finance, including at Allstate, while his cooking page grew. As recipes and events took more time, he and his wife decided to try food content full time. By June 2022, his agency reported an audience of more than 1.2 million followers.

Grillin With Dad centers on approachable recipes that home cooks can try themselves. His work now includes grilling videos, a recipe website, live events and his own BBQ seasonings. His website reports more than 3.5 million followers across social platforms.
A family business.
