Mini bio
How it started.
Manel and Hanna met while working in Barcelona, then travelled together while working remotely. They became vegan in 2017 and began posting recipes in 2020. Their travels helped shape the food they shared as Addicted to Humus.
Finding their audience.
They built their approach around food that looks inviting and feels possible to cook at home. In a 2022 interview, Hanna named hummus as their most successful recipe, while Manel also pointed to tofu dishes. Their first cookbook arrived that year, followed by the English-language Addicted to Vegan in 2024.
Beyond the kitchen.
After looking into shoes for their first child, they became interested in barefoot footwear. When they could not find sneakers that suited their taste, they began designing their own. That idea became OHNE Project.
