Marinela Bezer

Before the feed.

Marinela grew up in Moldova, spent ten years in competitive ballroom dancing and worked in children’s television. Fashion became a family project: she and her mother founded Malliny in 2015.

London beginnings.

Moving to London in 2016 helped turn her interests in fashion, travel and photography into a part-time job alongside marketing and advertising studies. In her own account of those years, she recalled studying during the week and shooting a week’s worth of outfits at weekends, sometimes changing on the street in the cold. Early followers included friends and people who remembered her television work.

Building an audience.

Her following grew across Instagram and TikTok through fashion and travel content. In November 2023 she marked 700,000 Instagram followers, describing a gradual climb built around consistent original work. Her own Creator PlayBook site later reported more than five million followers across platforms.
