Mini bio
How it started.
Mason grew up in Golconda, Illinois, raised by grandparents whose classic records helped shape a love of country music. Family karaoke gatherings came before a first public appearance at the Kentucky Opry at four. Hank Williams, Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly and Randy Travis were early influences.
The Walmart moment.
In 2018, a video of Mason singing “Lovesick Blues” in a Harrisburg, Illinois, Walmart spread online. Soon came Ellen, the Grand Ole Opry and a Coachella appearance with Whethan. Atlantic and Big Loud signed Mason and released the debut single “Famous” on April 27, 2018.
Finding a voice.
The Famous and Twang EPs led to a featured turn on Lil Nas X’s 2019 “Old Town Road” remix. The debut album I’ll See You In My Dreams followed in 2024, alongside a contribution to Twisters: The Album, “Shake Shake (All Night Long).” In 2025, Mason teamed up with Harper Grace for “Live Lonely” and announced a spring headline tour. The second album, Outlaw in Love, arrived in August 2026 through Sandlot Records.
