Mini bio
How it started.
Mattie began sharing daily outfits while at work, describing the move into TikTok as a happy accident. In a March 2024 interview with The Wolf Gang, they said those posts had grown into a community of fashion lovers around the world. Their mum, who worked in fashion, helped shape their love of colour and confidence in personal style.
Building Two Swim.
During three years of fashion study, Mattie met best friend and future business partner Zoe. Their shared concern about the fashion industry’s environmental impact helped inspire Two Swim, alongside Mattie’s love of the water. By July 2025, Mattie described working full-time as a fashion creator and co-owning the swimwear label, after previously working in social media for an Australian fashion brand.
Finding an audience.
By the July 2024 Founder Tapes interview, the show reported more than 100,000 TikTok followers and 50,000 Instagram followers. Mattie later brought their colour-led style to a Pared eyewear collection and, in 2026, wrote about their first Copenhagen Fashion Week for Mamamia.
