How it started.
Max began in student and hospital radio in Newcastle. While at university, he picked up a camera to interview students on nights out. Those StreetSmart interviews became the foundation of his channel.

He appeared as fictional model Maximus Bucharest in Zac Alsop’s fashion-week prank. In a Varsity interview, Max recalled his audience jumping from about 1,000 to 50,000 subscribers in roughly four days.
Following the idea.
When the pandemic stopped his street interviews, Max moved into more elaborate comedy premises. His projects include a deliberately absurd company-valuation stunt and a “Welcome to Luton” sign beneath the approach to Gatwick Airport.
From screen to stage.
His first stand-up tour, Zocial Butterfly, began in 2021. Loophole followed internationally in 2024 and 2025. His official biography says it finished in spring 2025 after 72 shows in 13 countries, selling more than 45,000 tickets.

In October 2026, he launched No Bad Ideas with Max Fosh, produced by his company Fish With an O. Celebrity guests help him explore the ideas that have yet to become videos.
