Mini bio
A different first career.
Before stepping in front of a camera, Megyn was a lawyer. She studied political science at Syracuse University and graduated cum laude from Albany Law School in 1995, where she edited the law review and competed in moot court. She worked at Bickel & Brewer and Jones Day before beginning her television career at Washington’s WJLA-TV.
The television years.
She joined Fox News in 2004 and became known nationally through her reporting and The Kelly File. Her questioning at the first Republican primary debate in 2015 brought her wider attention. She published her memoir Settle for More in 2016, which debuted at number one on The New York Times bestseller list, and worked at NBC News from 2017 to 2018.
Building her own home.
Megyn launched Devil May Care Media and The Megyn Kelly Show in 2020. The podcast began in her children’s playroom, then expanded into live radio and video through a SiriusXM partnership in 2021. Her mix of interviews, political and cultural commentary, and legal coverage now extends to AM Update and the MK Media network.
