Mini bio
How it started.
Mia grew up in Chicago and developed an interest in nutrition after being diagnosed with an autoimmune thyroid disease in college. She completed her master’s program at Loyola Chicago in 2017.
From hobby to work.
After finishing her master’s and dietetic internship in 2017, she was still figuring out her direction. Sharing recipes began as something to do while studying for exams and soon became her full-time job. Her focus is helping people feel comfortable cooking, often through familiar comfort foods.
What fans come for.
Gathered Nutrition brings together approachable meals and baking, with dedicated gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan and vegetarian recipe collections. Her site lists creamy coconut turmeric rice and olive oil chocolate chip cookies among its most popular recipes.
Beyond the recipe feed.
Mia also created the 21 Day Reset e-book and worked with Ground Up on its Funfetti Chip nut butter flavor. In her Ground Up interview, she described choosing recipes that reflect her own tastes rather than chasing trends.
