From the shop floor.
Michi’s creator story began with shoe-shop tips. The Wants Social dates the company’s founding by Michi Brandl and Mark Hegelau to 2014, followed by the Cologne store opening in 2015. That opening also brought their first influencer event.
A wider world.
The shop’s styling advice grew into a personal channel spanning fashion, lifestyle and everyday life. Michi also co-founded The Wants Social, bringing experience as a creator into the agency’s work with brands and communities.
Making things with fans in mind.
Product collaborations now sit alongside the outfit posts. After a first Les Visionnaires bag drop in autumn 2024, a second collaboration invited five followers into the pre-launch shoot. In 2026, Michi co-created a home collection with LEONARDO and a Letters to Santa Advent calendar.
