Mini bio

How it started.

Before her therapy videos reached millions, Nadia was gathering women’s stories. In a 2017 interview, she described how a social work placement with 360 Kids inspired You Run Like A Girl, a project built around portraits and interviews. She had graduated in social work from Ryerson University and wanted to give women space to share what they had overcome.

Finding her audience.

Nadia began sharing mental health content on TikTok during the pandemic. Her short videos made topics such as anxiety, overthinking, and relationship dynamics approachable, helping her reach a large audience beyond the therapy room. She also founded Evolve & Bloom, where her clinical approach emphasizes listening, compassion, and helping clients recognize their strengths.

Beyond short videos.

In 2023, she co-hosted Mind-Fully Healing with therapist Micheline Maalouf, discussing attachment, trauma responses, and relationships. She also attended Harvard’s 2023 Creators Summit on Mental Health. Her work now includes Cocoon, an app for finding a therapist whose background and approach fit your needs.

What is next.

Her book Not This Again is listed by publisher Hay House for January 26, 2027. It explores repeating emotional patterns, including self-sabotage and people-pleasing, with exercises drawing on her clinical work.
