How it started.
In a 2021 GOGO Magazine interview, Piyali traced the start of the journey to travel blogging in 2013, followed by a more focused approach in 2017. Moving between states during childhood, because of their father’s work, helped spark a love of travel.
Finding an audience.
Piyali told GOGO that weekly live sessions, lifestyle activities and posts about styling, beauty and grooming helped the Instagram community grow. In a 2020 Startup India Magazine feature, they described receiving an encouraging response to posts about products, modelling and personal transformation, with reels helping bring new followers.
Making room for more bodies.
Fashion and self-acceptance run through Piyali’s work. In a 2022 India Saga interview, they described wanting to challenge the idea that an ideal body must be slim. Their official website also lists pageant grooming, ramp training and modelling among their work.
