Mini bio

Finding the pastry kitchen.

Pooja studied hospitality in Switzerland and discovered that the pastry kitchen was where the work felt happiest. That led to pastry training at Le Cordon Bleu Paris. A first taste of macarons in Paris became the seed of the business that followed.

A little Paris in Mumbai.

Le15 began in 2010 with the idea of bringing Parisian desserts to India. The name remembers the 15th arrondissement, the Paris neighbourhood Pooja called home. Macarons became its signature, while the range grew to include cakes, cupcakes and tarts.

Making baking feel possible.

The Big Book of Treats arrived in 2014, translating professional baking into recipes for Indian home kitchens. Pooja also hosts the interview podcast #NoSugarCoat and became a MasterChef India judge in 2023. Recipes, kitchen experiments and the daily work of running a business carry that teaching spirit online.

New tables and new stories.

The next chapter includes children’s fiction with Aria & The Magic Apron, co-written with Stuti Agarwal, and Pardon Our French in Mumbai’s Ballard Estate. In 2025, Pooja also brought bakers together for a Cake Party and received La Liste’s Pastry Game Changer award.
