How it started.
Sam started her blog in 2009 while studying, before launching into YouTube. A fashion styling graduate, she first became known online as Beautycrush, making fashion and beauty videos.
Finding her audience.
By March 2015, she had more than one million YouTube subscribers. In her i-D interview that month, she talked about making clothes and makeup approachable and helping viewers feel confident. She had also launched the clothing label Novem & Knight with Jason Davis.
